Thank you for your interest in the She Elevates Shadows: Mentor Experience! She Shadows was designed to equip select She Elevates Academy graduates with leadership and entrepreneurial skills, core values, and qualities that will help them become future successful girl business owners and CEO’s. The purpose of the shadowing experience is to provide proteges with an opportunity to learn what it is like to run a successful company and what it takes to be a successful business owner and CEO firsthand. Proteges will be guided through this process and experience by a volunteer mentor. You do not need to have experience as a mentor, we will offer mentorship training to you.
WHO ARE WE?
She Elevates, Inc., is a nonprofit 501 (c) 3, organized for charitable, scientific, and educational purposes that provide training for girls ages 8-14, mentorship, shadowing, and educational information about business ownership and CEO’s.
OUR MISSION
She Elevates empowers girls to become confident leaders, successful business owners, CEOs and contributing members of society and role models of their generation. At the core of our mission is empowerment. Economic status, low confidence and limited resources should never be barriers to greatness. At She Elevates, we are breaking barriers and inspiring.
OUR SHE SHADOWS: MENTOR EXPERIENCE
She Shadows, are successful female entrepreneurs, C-Level executives, community leaders, and females with outstanding core values who are passionate about developing and helping girls achieve success. Throughout the course of the shadow experience, mentors may open up their offices and business locations to facilitate effective shadowing days. All She Elevates Shadow Experience Mentors have undergone a thorough screening process and an extensive background check. They have met the criteria to be chosen and are matched with a protege.
OUR PROTEGES
She Elevates Shadow Experience Proteges are girls ages 8-14 who have been a part of She Elevates programs. Some alumnae may be up to 21 years of age. If you are passionate about developing girl leaders and training future entrepreneurs and business owners, consider a mentorship role within She Shadow: Mentoring Experience. You will be matched with a She Elevates protege with the expectation of developing a lasting mentor-protege relationship throughout the course of their participation in the program and possibly beyond. The role as a mentor is to commit to providing knowledge, advice, motivation, resources and emotional support. We would like a minimum of a one year commitment.
