Conduct post-event evaluations for all major events.Feedback and Evaluation: Participate in post-campaign evaluations to assess effectiveness, identify successes, and suggest improvements for future initiatives.Academy Team The Academy Team collaboratively supports and assists the Director of Education in fulfilling the organization's educational mission, ensuring the delivery of high-quality learning experiences and fostering a positive and enriching educational environment. (Please select your areas of interest.) Planning and Program Development: Create tailored application forms for Academy participation. Assist in refining the curriculum, finalizing the comprehensive instructor's guide, conducting interviews for potential instructors, and aid in securing a Keynote Speaker & MC/Hosts.Public Relations: Develop visually appealing PowerPoint presentations for various Academy-related purposes.Event Planning: Contribute to planning the overall structure and logistics of the graduation event. Coordinate details and activities for the ceremony. Manage the procurement of necessary supplies, including games, trophies, certificates, and T-shirts for the program.Communication and Outreach: Initiate engagement with schools to recruit participants. Create and distribute congratulatory videos and newsletters via Mail Chimp. Select and communicate with program instructors, mentors (SHEROES), and virtual session chaperones. Monitor legal documentation completion by parents and conduct post-program follow-ups, gathering feedback through evaluation forms.Social Media and Promotion: Regularly post updates, highlights, and relevant content on social media platforms. Conduct preparatory meetings with both participants and their parents. Plan and organize the schedule for each day's activities. Create videos for parents providing information about the program.Administrative Tasks: Oversee and respond to communications from the Confidence Club. Curate supplementary videos for the program curriculum. Conduct background checks for staff and volunteers. Handle logistics, including coordinating lunches, securing breakfast, and organizing field experiences. Manage program-related items, such as the SHE Prize Box. Ensure the readiness of technology, including Chromebooks. Address participant needs, including instances requiring a "time out." Finalize certificates for program completion, utilizing both print and handwritten formats.Gala Team The Gala Council is composed of various committees, each playing a crucial role in the success of the event. We invite you to choose a committee within the Gala Team that aligns with your interests and expertise. Your participation will contribute significantly to the collective effort in creating a memorable and successful gala experience. (Please select your areas of interest.)Production Committee: Assist with overseeing committee operations, determining ticket prices, selecting menus, coordinating decorations, managing PowerPoint presentations, organizing program books and scripts, handling catering and seating arrangements, coordinating entertainment, and collecting ads from the sponsor committee. Assist with creating gala graphics.Nomination Committee: Assist in preparing the nomination form, updating, and making it publicly available. Help select winners, collaborate with the marketing committee to craft congratulatory messages, choose awards, and create verbiage for each winner based on the nominations received.Ticket Committee: Setup eventbrite, post on eventbrite and maintain communication. Work with marketing and production committees to offer ticketing updates. Offer daily ticket updates one week prior to the event.Raffle & Fundraising Committee: Manage the 50/50 raffle, gift baskets and money tree. Organize the raffle, encourage the purchase of tickets the evening of the event. Handle all monies the evening of the gala. Ensure square payments are handled properly. Recruit volunteers.Marketing & Communication Committee: Work closely with all committees to ensure that marketing messages are promoted. Organize radio and TV organizations. Ensure all information about the Gala is on the sheelevates.org website and made available to board and advisory members. Develop creative ways to promote the gala on social media.Hospitality Committee: Maintaining close contact with award winners, serving as a hostess, and ensuring their punctuality for the event.
